On your first session we discuss your health history, your goals and expectations for being Rolfed. I also address any questions you may have. At the beginning of the session I will evaluate your structure, both standing and walking. In order to evaluate body structures I work with people in their underwear (and tops for women). You may also wear running shorts and a sports bra or a light T-shirt if you would be more comfortable. I am dedicated to your feeling as safe as possible.

After I make some structural assessments, you will lie on my table and we will work to bring awareness to areas of holding and work to release these holding patterns. A large part of my work is also helping you bring awareness to your holding patterns and finding alternatives that will offer you more ease.
